Cueva Ventana
The cave is a popular tourist attraction to Puerto Ricans as well as tourists visiting from outside Puerto Rico. An initial admittance fee, was established by the owner of the gas station to enter the trail to the cave on Saturdays and Sundays due to its popularity. The number of visitors is at its most popular on both Saturdays and Sundays from early morning to an hour before nightfall.
Arecibo Lighthouse
If you have children, I think they will love this place. The Arecibo Lighthouse & Historical Park sounds all historical, boring and grown up, but don’t be fooled. This is a children’s park that tries to be mildly education, but mainly it is just for fun. We stopped here one afternoon on a trip out "west". When we got there, it was full of children’s laughter and squeals!
Colombus Statue
At 350ft, Birth of a New World is not the tallest sculpture in existence. For example, Anish Kapoor’s ArcelorMittal Orbit, in the London Olympic Park, is 25ft taller. But Tsereteli’s work is enormous, 45ft taller than the Statue of Liberty from pedestal to torch.
Old Hydroelectric Waterfall
Located 15 minutes from the hightway on arecibo, made by the man in the 1900s was used for powering the region. Now days is used for sightseeing and diversion.

Sorrounded by the towns of Hatillo, Arecibo, Quebradillas, Lares, Camuy and many others, this town plazas offer a historic insight of the culture and diversity on the island.
